A southeast Missouri locomotive engineer injured in a 2018 railyard accident has been awarded $2.75 million by a city of St. Louis jury, exceeding the plaintiff’s final pretrial demand by more than $1M — and more than 10 times the value of the defendant’s final pretrial offer.
